About Ruby

Ruby Roe, British author of sapphic romantasy

Ruby Roe writes spicy sapphic romantasy — romance and fantasy starring women loving women, with magic, deadly trials, blood bonds, and the kind of explicit on-page steam readers describe as "filthy in the best way."

She's the author of four interconnected series — three published, one on preorder:

Girl Games

A sapphic fantasy heist series set in New Imperium, where magical tattoos grant power, criminal Houses pay assassins for contracts, and a princess might just be the worst negotiator's biggest weakness. Start here with A Game of Hearts and Heists.

Kingdom of Immortal Lovers

Ruby's sapphic vampire series, set in Sangui City where ancient vampires rule, hunters enforce the law, and blood bonds can either save you or absolutely ruin you. Start with House of Crimson Hearts.

Deals of Dark Desire

Dark academia, demons, a deal-with-the-devil sapphic romance, and contracts that cost more than your soul. A duet, completing 30 June 2026. Start with Architecti.

Empire of Ruin (newest — preorder)

Ruby's newest and darkest series. Welcome to Nefari City, a metropolis divided by seven mafia families, each descended from one of the original deadly sins and ranked like pieces on a chessboard. Vampire versus fae. Dark sapphic mafia romantasy at its most dangerous. Start with the prequel Daughter of Sin (preorder — physical copies include exclusive character artwork, a bookmark, and a sticker).

About Ruby (the human)

Ruby loves a bit of magic with her smut, but she'll read anything as long as the characters get down and dirty. When she isn't writing romance, she can usually be found beasting herself in the gym, snuggling with her two pussy… cats, or spanking all her money on her next travel adventure. She lives in England with her wife, son and two devious Ragdoll cats.

Ruby also writes non-fiction craft books for writers and a young-adult straight romantasy series called Eden East under Sacha Black — same person, different brand. The Sacha Black work is entirely separate from the Ruby Roe sapphic romantasy catalogue.
