If you have played "Mass Effect" trilogy video games, then this book trilogy is similar to the games from emotional point of view. Spice aside, the story is interesting. First book is great introduction to the characters and history, and relationships. The second book, that's like "Empire Strikes back" so many twists and turns and cliffhanger... dude and girl... that was crazy. At the moment writing this review, I'm in the middle of the third book, but you can feel the pressure, and the stakes are much higher.
BTW... this is first this type of genre of books for me, huge difference from History, Culture and Science topics, but it is fun to read. If you are asking about "Capsaicin", I would describe it as "The Carolina Reaper". Personally favorite line, that perfectly describes the main characters is in Book 1, Page 154 "Interlude chapter", quote "...eyes of blood and death. No! Eyes of Love and Life"
This trilogy is my favorite books by Ruby Roe so far. Completely in love with the characters. The books are so well made and so beautiful. Lesbians know how to make good books my gosh.

Must be turned into film saga or TV series. Reminds me of the creativity of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them movie, just with more creativity and WLW; which tops it all.
