I read all four of them in a matter of days, I loved the plot, the intensity, the fact I can picture the scenes. The story how I cried and laughed and deeply felt the emotions they did! Just started the house bundle and finished the first book in two and a half days (reading in the afternoon during my twins nap, and late the evening)
I can’t lie, I was putting off reviewing this as it took a long time for me to read the first book, however it just turns out I needed glasses, and once I could read the words properly I flew through the other two. Highly recommend the series, I’ve fallen in love with the characters!
I wish I could sum up how much I love this series! I started on the Immortal Lovers series and had worries I wouldn't love it *as much* but I was so wrong!
Each character is so rich and I loved getting to know all of them... For me, the found family element of the books is what has left such an imprint on my heart, there was so much that reminded me of my own chosen family. I loved learning more about the different cities, their magics and the descriptions are so immersive.
It goes without saying that the spice elements are GREAT but I love how this and immortal lovers really tackles the emotional complexities in the characters' relationships to themselves and each other.
I can't wait to see what comes next in this universe 🩷
